On Saturday, June 20, Patty's Summer Collection took over the alley beside James Reid Furniture, right in the heart of downtown Kingston at 252 Princess St — for a one-day event called Art in the Alley.

James Reid has been a downtown Kingston fixture for more than 170 years, and when they invited Patty to show her work during the Princess Street Promenade, it felt like exactly the kind of local story her bright, bold paintings belong in. Visitors stepped into the alleyway all afternoon to browse the collection, and the day turned out to be one of her most successful yet — several pieces found new homes.

A heartfelt thank-you to Colleen and David Reid and the whole team at James Reid Furniture for opening up their space, and to everyone who stopped by to browse and bring a piece home.
